Much has happened over 33 episodes! If you are  a newcomer (better late than never!) or haven't been for a while - here is an an overview  - with a few plot points that may come into play:
~ Angry over unpaid debts and a Casino losing money, crime boss Uncle Tony took over daily management of the Oasis, demoting Joey to card dealer and Frankie to custodian.

~ Peggy Sue was hired as a chambermaid then became an apprentice to Bobby, Casino Accountant.  She stole his three sets of accounting books and showed Uncle Tony that his staff had been skimming profits. Tony was livid and ordered ex-pugilist Rudy to break Frankie’s arms. Vincent the Entertainment Director, Bobby, and Joey were all guilty and feared for their lives. There was a Life Insurance policy on cousin Rudy worth $2 million that would be paid to the Casino upon his demise, but if married would go to his widow.

~ FBI Agent Mac Ranker showed up to investigate the murders of two insurance men found buried in the desert. Lloyd Bentley had been killed by Rudy to protect movie star Libby Montgomery. She stole half a million in insurance money, which was later taken by Bobby. Both Bobby and Tony had beaten Groat, the other insurance man, to death.
~ Libby agreed to marry Rudy to keep their secret; as a married couple, they could not testify against each other.

~ Meanwhile...Fiona had gotten lucky at the slots, and had a one-night fling with Joey, who had once been in love with long-departed Showgirl Veronica Starr. There was rivalry amongst the Showgirls Audrey and Virginia.
~ Bellhop Jonesy was crushed to learn that his former flame Peggy Sue was now engaged to Uncle Tony.   He tidied the Penthouse, unwittingly tossing the crooked set of books, as well as the FBI Agent’s evidence about the murders.
