Libby Montgomery discovered that her earrings, the famous Pink Diamonds of Tanzania, had gone missing in her move from the Penthouse to a new, smaller, hotel room. Also apparently missing was her Hollywood agent, Wink Winklestein. Jonsey Ford, tasked by casino boss Joey Calligari with searching for the misplaced jewelry, made the unfortunate decision to look under Rudy Bellini's hat, which earned the Bellhop a thumping at the hands of the ex-pugilist. Peggy Sue McGee was disappointed when her attempts to revive Jonsey resulted in his semi-conscious whispering of the name of Audrey, the showgirl. With the Casino bleeding money, accountant Bobby DeFaro was irritated by dealer Frankie Zane's request for a raise and Vincent Martino paying top dollar to bring in The Great Hornacio The Great to perform in the Camel's Toe Show Lounge. At the end of the night, a tipsy Libby needed assistance from Joey and Vincent to return to her room, where the men found Peggy and Jonsey asleep on her bed.
