After attending another heated performance by Johnny Taupe in the Show Lounge, Libby Montgomery was escorted to the penthouse by Vincent Martino - who happily reminded her she still had a few days remaining on her contract. The entertainment director was unaware that mobster Uncle Tony had also been booked into the same Suite. Frankie Zane explained to Joey Calligari that he was actually using reverse psychology when he asked Fiona Olaconacher to conspire with him in cheating the casino, and that this was all part of his plan for her to lose her considerable winnings at the table. Proffered a martini and marital advice by Libby, Peggy Sue McGee had her first drink, followed by her first kiss – with none other than Joey, witnessed by a dismayed Jonsey Ford. Audrey the Showgirl also got advice and an earful of secrets from Libby. Meanwhile, Bobby DeFaro was very concerned about Rudy Bellini’s whereabouts, and at a loss on how to pay Uncle Tony his money; but his nose for dough smelled the cash Libby had hidden in her outfit. When the movie star returned to the Penthouse, she was alarmed to find a stranger - Uncle Tony - on her bed holding her suitcase full of the remaining insurance money.

After Libby Montgomery transferred the $500,000 cash payout from Lloyd Bentley’s attaché to her own suitcase, she gave the empty attache to Rudy Bellini and asked him to drop it wherever the presumably unconscious insurance man had been taken; she swore Rudy to secrecy and sealed their deal with a kiss. Meanwhile Peggy Sue McGee, still confused about her reply to Jonsey’s marriage proposal - after receiving marital advice from Libby - caught the bellhop ‘practicing’ kissing with Audrey the showgirl. Uncle Tony checked into the palatial penthouse, but not before firmly requesting that Joey Calligari and Bobby DeFaro pay up, which sent the accountant and casino boss into a tizzy - since all three sets of books show the casino losing money. Vincent Martino convinced Libby to stick around long enough to sing a sizzling duet with Johnny Taupe in the Camel’s Toe Show Lounge. Fiona Olaconacher felt compelled to tell Joey and Bobby about dealer Frankie Zane’s proposition to team up and cheat the casino - news which was not taken lightly. Joey invited dealer Frankie to the office for a late night meeting.
Libby Montgomery was surprised when Lloyd Bentley, owner of Bentley Insurance, showed up to personally investigate her claim for the allegedly missing Pink Diamonds of Tanzania; she was vexed when the hotel moved her into a much smaller room - one that seemingly doubled as a janitor’s closet. Vincent Martino ended up alone in the office and did some creative bookkeeping with Bobby DeFaro’s ledgers, dramatically increasing his entertainment budget. Johnny Taupe dazzled once again in the Camel’s Toe Show Lounge. Frankie Zane offered to escort Fiona Olaconacher to her room, where he suggested they conspire to cheat the casino. Lloyd interrogated the hotel staff who had access to Libby's room, and cleared Peggy Sue, but the Bellhop was nowhere to be found. Peggy Sue McGee was still flabbergasted by Jonsey’s marriage proposal and turned to Joey Calligari for advice, which confused the casino boss who believed she was seeking a relationship with him. In her tiny room, Libby Montgomery had to fend off an advance from Lloyd Bentley, but was rescued by Rudy who knocked out the insurance agent and dragged him away. Libby discovered her half-million dollar payout in Lloyd’s attache, transferred the cash into her own suitcase, and quickly (and musically) decided to check out of The Oasis. Bobby and Joey were discussing their concerns about the impending visit from Uncle Tony, when the notorious mobster arrived unexpectedly early.
Libby Montgomery asked Bobby DeFaro to put in an insurance claim for the Pink Diamonds of Tanzania, even though she discovered the missing earrings in her hat box. Advice on romance from Audrey and Frankie Zane didn’t stop Jonsey from blurting out a marriage proposal to Peggy Sue McGee. Rudy Bellini also blurted out his feelings to Libby, and was devastated by her blithe response. After Bobby received a phone call from the IRS informing him of an upcoming audit, casino boss Joey Calligari answered another unsettling call regarding the imminent arrival of his boss, Uncle Tony. While Peggy Lee entertained in the Camel’s Toe Show Lounge, Johnny Taupe took advantage of his free time to romance a showgirl. Libby Montgomery picked up the phone in her hotel room to learn that Lloyd Bentley, owner of Lloyd Bentley Insurance, was planning on personally investigating her claim.
